Now in its third year, The Pacific Playwrights Conference of San Diego is held each year in the fall on the campus of San Diego City College in partnership with the Playwriting Program of the Drama Department. The conference is a platform for professional playwrights in the development of new work.

 

Professional playwrights, alongside professional directors and actors, stage the readings over the course of the conference. In conjunction with San Diego City College, students from the Playwriting Program act in support roles while learning about the storytelling process.

PPC of SD is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to exploring the diversity of living art in San Diego.
